Elizabeth Craft Designs Day

For my card today, I am showcasing another card made from the Playing Card Collage Stamp Set.

The Enjoy is from the Everyday Big Words Die Set, and the background heart die cut is from Lace, Hearts & Doily Die Set.

I totally love this clean card - it shows how easy it is to make your own playing cards!  I gave this to my husband's gambling friend, who just happens to be going to Vegas.  He loved this good luck charm 😉!

See you next Monday with another showcase~

AAA Card Challenge #302 - Follow the Leader

For this Follow the Leader, we are following Karen Rogers, with this cute card;

Here is my take~

I am loving this adorable reindeer!  He makes me smile every year I use him.  Of course he has to have a red nose 😀.

Your turn!  You have a couple of weeks to join in this challenge. You can play along over at AAA Card Challenge #302.

CutCardStock Day

It's Saturday again so it's CCS Day here on the blog.  I am still in the Christmas card stage -- time is running out before I have to mail mine out!

I went with a CAS mini slimline card.  CAS for Christmas so works for me - if I should run out [of cards], I can just whip out the few needed, and the Season will be complete.  Plus, I do enjoy filling my Christmas stash - I know I will for sure mail these cards out - birthdays, not so much.

I love using the Pearlized Papers!  They have such a subtle texture, and the colors are outstanding!  For this mini slimline card, I used the Pearl Textured Green Curry, and for the tree I used Mirri Sparkle Green Glitter card stock, with a 2 layer backing of Linen Emerald Card Stock.  By using the colored stabilizing die cuts, it gives dimension, and from the side it blends in with the card.  There's a dual win for me!

I added on even more texture with the snowflake embossing folder.  Yep, I very happy with this card!

See you next month!

Just Us Girls Challenge #798 - Stencil Week

I do have to say, I am really loving the scheduling that JUGS has.  It is really nice to have free rein in creating a card.  Today's card is a prime example.

Not that you can tell, but I used a framed stencil covered with a triangle stencil, so my stenciling would be centered on the card panel.  I used my new Spellbinders die set [I got on sale] and using a blending brush, inked on some Autumn colors.

This card was very relaxing to make.  I am happy with the end result too!

Your turn!  Come on over to JUGS #798 Stencil Week and join in!  We would love you to play along.

Release Day Elizabeth Craft Designs - Romantic Revival

Today is the day for the ECD Everyday Elements Romantic Revival Release.   There is a video showing the entire release [and samples from the Team] today also at 12pm MT, over on Facebook.  Meanwhile here is my card for today;

This is a super awesome stamp set called Playing Card Collage.  I love that you can make your own "cards" and then in my sample, just keep adding some fun layers!  The background papers are from the new paper pad, Romantic Revival.  The keys & lock are from the Postage, Arches & Keys Die set.

This was really fun to create!

You can see the entire release over at Elizabeth Craft Designs. There is also a "Buy It All" on sale for $220.32! Over the upcoming weeks, I will be sharing the samples I created to showcase this fun release.

See you on Monday~
